Warren "Chipper" A. Wood, Jr.

Warren A. Wood, Jr., (Chipper), 70, passed away on December 22, 2020.

While Chipper resided most recently in Torrington, he grew up in West Cornwall and spent most of his life in the local area.  He was a graduate of Oliver Wolcott Technical High School, then served in the Navy on the USS Forrestal during the Vietnam War.  Chipper preferred to stay close to home where he could tinker in his workshop.  He also enjoyed feeding and watching the birds.

Chipper was predeceased by his parents Frances and Warren, and his brother Gary.  He is survived by his wife Lynn and will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends.

A private service will be held at a later date.  Donations may be made in his memory to the Disabled American Veterans.
