Tillie (Maches) Renzullo

Tillie (Maches) Renzullo, 97, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Valerie Manor.  She was the wife of the late Emil Renzullo, Sr.

Tillie was born February 20, 1924, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late John and Lucretia (Achiem) Maches.  She was employed by Charlotte Hungerford Hospital with their laundry department until her retirement.

She is survived by two sons, Emil Renzullo, Jr. and his wife Colleen, David Renzullo; one daughter, Gail Renzullo all of Torrington, CT; one granddaughter, Stephanie Renzullo, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one grandson, Emil “Moe” Renzullo, one brother, Tom Maches and two sisters, Venice DeMichael and Valeria Strand.

Tillie’s family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Valerie Manor for the care and compassion shown to her.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT 06790.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, 76 Walnut St., Torrington, CT 06790.  Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home.  All attending calling hours and funeral services are requested to wear protective face masks.
