Steven D. Sylvester

Steven D. Sylvester, 45, of Harwinton, CT, unexpectedly passed away March 25, 2019.  He was the beloved husband of Michele (Roy) Sylvester.

Steve was born December 12, 1973, in Waterbury, CT, son of Joseph and Nancy (Valente) Sylvester of Punta Gorda, FL.  He was employed by McLellan Tree Service as a Construction Sales Representative.

A loving husband, father and son to his parents, he enjoyed camping, sports activities with his son, and always spending time with this family and many friends.

In addition to his parents and his wife Michele, he is survived by their son Logan, his brother David Sylvester and wife Carolyn of Morris, CT; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Janice Matthews of Harwinton, CT; a brother-in-law Michael Roy of Avon, CT; several nieces, nephews and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Gilbert Roy.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT.
