Rosalind Perosino

Rosalind (Grieco) Perosino, 95, of Torrington, CT, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Litchfield Woods.  She was the wife of the late Renato Perosino.

Rosalind was born October 7, 1922, in Torrington, CT, daughter of the late John and Antoinette “Anna” (Cavallo) Grieco.  She was employed by the Harwinton Consolidated School as an Instructional Assistant until her retirement.  She was a member of the Harwinton Women’s Club. Rosalind was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and sang in the choir for many years.  She loved music and dancing and could play the piano by ear.  Her first and foremost love was her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Denise Olivero and her husband Tom of Torrington; two grandchildren, Alicia and Brion and three nephews and their families, Doug Grieco, Mark Grieco and Alan Grieco.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Maurice Grieco.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  A Funeral Service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours.  Entombment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
