Robert Marshall

Robert (Bob) Marshall passed away on Tuesday, April 19th, 2022, at the age of 77.

Born in Winsted on February 13th, 1945, he was the son of the late John and Victoria Marshall of Winsted and one of 13, brothers and sisters. He is survived by sisters, Vicky Noble, Genevese Wald, Pat Caine, Lorraine Crunden and brothers Ray Marshall and Rowland Marshall. Bob was predeceased by his sister Anna Caine, Virginia La Lime, Betty Pacocha, Shirley LaCasse and brother John Marshall.

Bob was employed by the Hitchcock Chair Company for over 40 years and developed close friendship with many of the staff over the years. Bob was loved for his playful sense of humor and big heart. He always embraced making people smile and enjoyed giving cheer with holiday and garden décor. He loved dancing, shopping, watching baseball and was a fiercely proud Yankee fan. Bob cherished time with family and was the favorite Uncle to so many. He will be greatly missed.

A Graveside Service has been arranged by Cook Funeral Home in Torrington and will be held on Monday June 13th 10am at the Hillside Cemetery, 76 Walnut St., Torrington. Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at Hillside Cemetery.
