Robert G. Johns, 88, of Torrington, CT, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Litchfield Woods.

Born in Douglas, Michigan, on March 13, 1933, he was the son of the late James R. and Thelma (Hart) Johns. He was the beloved husband of the late Norma (Finotti) Johns for 63 years. He honorably served his country with the US Navy. Prior to his retirement, he enjoyed a career as an engineer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid genealogist.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary-Lynn Visentin and her husband, John, of Torrington; his granddaughters, Loren Visentin, and Julie Visentin; his sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
