Robert F. Cisowski was born on January 27, 1949, to Barbara and Raymond Cisowski in Torrington, CT. He peacefully passed away on October 30, 2021, in Farmington, CT after an extensive battle with cancer and complications from prolonged Agent Orange exposure. He was 72 years old.
Bob, known as "Peaches," to his fellow Marines, served in Vietnam and in Okinawa from 1969 to 1971. Upon his return home he spent his life caring for his ailing mother and sister.
Robert was a kind man who found immense fulfillment in helping others. He was a very thoughtful and generous man who supported different foundations. A few of them include Paralyzed Veterans of America, St. Joseph's Indian School, Covenant House, Law Enforcement Officers Relief Fund, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, ASPCA, Sioux Nation and many, many more.
Robert's gentle soul will be greatly missed, but he will continue to live on through fond memories of him held by those closest to him, including his best friends, Amber and Matthew Reimann.
