Torrington, Connecticut

Nicholas DeAngelo, 87, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Linda (Leonard) DeAngelo.

Nick was born June 30, 1934, in Torrington, CT, the son of the late Natale and Matilda (Persechino) D’Angelo.  He served his country with the U.S. Air Force.  Upon his honorable discharge, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.  He retired from A-Squared as a shipping foreman.  Nick enjoyed cooking, watching football, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by two sons and two daughters, one brother, two sisters, three grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT.  Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery with full military honors accorded.  Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning, August 5th, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
