Mary J. Fossati

Mary J. Fossati, 93, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away at her residence at Keystone Place in Torrington on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.

Mary was born October 7, 1927, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Charles and Pierina (Parietti) Fossati.  She was employed by Northeast Utilities with the Billing Department until her retirement.

A lifelong member of St. Peter Church, she was also a member of the Holy Rosary Society, and of both the Barkhamsted and Sullivan Senior Centers.

She is survived by one brother, John Fossati of Torrington, several nieces and nephews and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Eleanor Fossati.

Mary’s family would like to thank the staff of Keystone Place as well as to her caregivers from Foothills Visiting Nurse Association for the care and compassion given to her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish) 99 East Main St., Torrington, CT 06790.   There are no calling hours.  Burial will be private.
