Maria Christina (Ferrera) Rodriguez

Maria Cristina Rodriguez, 70, of Torrington, CT, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Nelson Rodriguez.

Maria was born April 11, 1951, in Cabral Baraona, Dominican Republic, the daughter of the late Americo and Carolina (Santana) Ferrera.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Nelson Rodriguez, Lourdes Rodriguez, Francisco Rodriguez, Francis Doris Rodriguez, Iliana Rodriguez.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 23, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish) 99 East Main St., Torrington, CT.  Burial will be private.  There are no calling hours.  Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at St. Peter Church, and are reminded to follow CDC recommendations for COVID prevention by social distancing and wearing protective face masks.
