Josephine (Schiavone) Lopardo

Josephine (Schiavone) Lopardo, 97, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Litchfield Woods. She was the wife of the late Marco Lopardo.

Josephine was born October 1, 1923, in Winsted, CT, the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Rinoia) Schiavone. She was employed by Charlotte Hungerford Hospital with the housekeeping department until her retirement.

She is survived by one son, Cal, and his wife Ginny Lopardo of Torrington; four grandchildren, Christina DeVerney of Tucson, AZ, Corinna Lopardo of Scottsdale, AZ, Jason Lopardo of Tucson, AZ, Brian Lopardo of Torrington, CT; one brother, Daniel Schiavone of Highland, CT; twelve great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
