Carol (Graziani) Riccucci
June 22, 1945 ~ June 7, 2023 (age 77) 77 Years Old
Carol M. (Graziani) Riccucci, 77, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away June 7, 2023, at Valerie Manor. She was the wife of the late Paul Riccucci.
Carol was born June 22, 1945, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Cozzi) Graziani. Carol was a graduate of Torrington High School and University of Connecticut. She had a successful career as a second and third grade elementary school teacher at Southwest School and was employed by the Torrington Board of Education for 20 years, until her retirement. Carol will be greatly missed by her surviving family members, step-children, step-grandchildren and friends. Carol was a very generous person, giving to everyone who asked her to do so. She showed her enthusiasm for life by volunteering and regularly participating in local community programs and activities. During her retirement, she enjoyed the company of the “Thursday Lunch Group,” always with laughter and a little craziness. Carol wanted to be remembered for all the good times that she had with family and friends.
Carol is survived by her cousin, Robert Neidt, granddaughters, Shannon Lopardo and Courtney Neidt, and great-grandchildren, McKenzie Klug, Connio Lopardo, and Ayerland Neidt-Baker, also her step-daughter Diana A. (Riccucci) Gelfond (husband Ira), grandchildren Justin M. Clark (wife Caitlin), Angela C. (Clark) Kirk (husband Parker), Maegan G.
