Arthur N. Huxley, Jr.

Arthur N. Huxley, Jr., 61, of New Hartford, CT, passed away Friday, June 28, 2019, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  He was the husband of Susan L. (Sager) Huxley.

Art was born November 11, 1957, in Torrington, CT, the son of the late Arthur N. Huxley, Sr., Joyce (Andrews) Huxley and his foster parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Perry F. Williams.  He was employed by Inertia Dynamics as a Logistics Tech.

In addition to his wife, Susan, he is survived by one son, Steven A. Huxley and his fiancée Kaitlyn Carver; one brother, Randy Huxley and his wife Elizabeth Netttleton of Winsted, CT; three sisters, Brenda Stengel of Torrington, CT, Muriel Kinane and her husband Dan of Winsted, CT, Viki Grathwol and her wife Susan of Torrington, CT;  foster sisters, Ramona Williams of Holyoke, MA, Wendy Williams- Brand, her husband Olivier of France, foster brothers Christian Williams of Floresville, TX, and Brian Williams, his wife Sarah LeMoine of Virginia as well as several nieces and nephews.  Art was predeceased by a special angel, a niece, Erica J. Wheaton.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  Relatives and friends may call on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be private.
