Allen L Rogala, Sr.

Allen L. Rogala, Sr., 71, of Willsboro, NY, formerly of Torrington, CT, suddenly passed away on March 7, 2019.  He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Jones) Rogala for 48 years.

Allen was born April 28, 1947, in New Britain, CT, son of the late Alexander and Helen (Zwick) Rogala.  He was a Mechanical Engineer, employed by IMI Cornelius, Lancer Corporation and Seitz Corporation until his retirement.

Allen enjoyed his time stamp collecting, gardening, and feeding the birds.  He was an avid Yankee fan.  He cherished his time with his family, especially at their home on Lake Champlain in Willsboro, NY.

In addition to his wife Sandra, he is survived by two sons, Allen L. Rogala, Jr. and his wife Donna, Peter Rogala and his wife Erin, both of Torrington; one sister, Marion Ramond of Burlington, CT; two grandsons, Colt and Luke as well as extended family and many friends.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home with The Rev. Michael Ruminski officiating.  Burial will be in the spring.
