Rosemary Natusch, 95, of Torrington, CT passed peacefully on January 5, 2026, at Litchfield Woods. She lived a life marked by compassion and dedication, both in her personal endeavors and her career as a Nurse’s Aide at the United Methodist Nursing Home in Shelton, CT.
Rosemary was born October 28, 1930, in New Haven, CT, the daughter of the late John and Frances (Gillis) Holihan. In addition to her parents, and husband, Earl R. Natusch, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, John Holihan, Robert Holihan, and Edward Holihan.
Rosemary always enjoyed her crafts. She left us with many crocheted blankets, embroidered tablecloths and ceramic pieces. She was especially fond of woodworking at the Sullivan Senior Center. She always enjoyed spending time at the Senior center. She was a member of the Bell and Beaus.
Rosemary was a devoted mother to her five children: Michael Natusch (Lise) of Scottsdale, AZ; Robert Natusch of Ansonia, CT; Bryan Natusch (Susan) of Mesa, AZ; Patricia Heavens (Gene) of Harwinton, CT; and Karen (Marie) Orzechowski of Derby, CT.
In addition to being a loving mother, she was a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren, celebrated the joy of 21 great-grandchildren, and had the honor of welcoming one great-great-grandson. Each of them holds treasured memories of their time with her and will carry forward her spirit in their lives.
Visitation hours 9:30-11am with a funeral service honoring Rosemary’s life will take place on January 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Cook Funeral Home, located at 82 Litchfield St, Torrington, CT. Burial will be held in the Spring at St. Augustine’s Cemetery in Seymour, CT.
