Rocco A. Anzellotti

Rocco A. Anzellotti, 80, of Newington, CT, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Born on March 4, 1945, in Torrington, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Anthony and Catherine (Segalla) Anzellotti.

Rocco proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After his honorable discharge, he attended the University of New Haven, where he graduated from with a degree in Marketing and then embarked on a successful career as a Sales Representative in the Tele Communications field.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Lenora (Lovallo) Anzellotti, and their daughter, Jamie Anzellotti-Hein of Norwalk, CT. Rocco’s joy was further amplified by his granddaughter, Alison Hein, who brought light and laughter into his life. He is also survived by his brothers, Anthony "Cookie" Anzellotti of Winsted, CT and Florida, and Robert Anzellotti of Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Anzellotti.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, with the cortege leaving at 10:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St, Torrington, CT 06790 to St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish), 99 East Main St., Torrington for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery, 863 South Main St., Torrington, CT with full military honors accorded. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
