Robin Lynn Cables

Robin Lynn Cables, 51, born July 1, 1971, in Thomaston, CT had succumbed to her battle with many illnesses at Hartford Hospital on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

A loving, caring sister, mother and grandmother - she is survived by her daughter Destiny Crystal, husband Jake Crystal also of Thomaston, CT and their two daughters Arya and Maisie. She is also survived by her brother Darin Cables and wife Audra Cables of Harwinton, CT as well as her nephews and niece, Erik, Colby and Marissa. She is predeceased by both parents Linda Pratt Cables and Denis Cables, as well as her nephew Chad Cables.

Robin was employed as a medical assistant at Starling Physicians (formerly Grove Hill). Family meant everything to Robin, who took on an active role and made it a mission to attend every event possible whether it be football practices, dance recitals or an annual family holiday craft day until her health took a decline.

In lieu of traditional services, Robin would have wished to have her life celebrated with family and friends around a fire - so please, in lieu of a traditional memorial; if the opportunity shows itself, warm yourself by that fire and roast a marshmallow for Robin.
