Robert L. Giannattasio

Robert L. Giannattasio, 78, of Torrington, CT, passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020.

Bobby was born May 4, 1941, in Torrington, CT, the son of the late Gabriel and Jennie (Silano) Giannattasio.  He was honorably discharged after serving his country with the US Army during the Vietnam era.  He was employed by Turner and Seymour as a Superintendent until his retirement.

He is survived by several cousins, including Marlene Downs and Rose Moranino, both of Torrington, CT.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  Burial will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Little Guild of St. Francis.
