Robert F. Conforti, Jr., 66, of Torrington, CT, unexpectedly passed away Wednesday , July 29, 2020. "A born and bred Torringtonian through and through". Bob was born on October 3, 1953, in Torrington, CT, the son of the late Martha “Sally” (Harris) and Robert F. Conforti, Sr. Bob grew up on Center St. and often spoke of his heartwarming childhood. He attended St Peter's School and served as an altar boy at the church. Bob graduated from OWTS in 1971. He loved baseball (avid Red Sox fan) and played catcher for his H.S. team. Bob went on to recieve a Bachleor's Degree in business. He was a dedicated employee of Stop and Shop for a staggering 50 years. He served as Board of Safety Commissioner for the town he loved.
Very recently retired, He spent most days taking long walks with his beloved wife Rhonda of 26 years and their two adored dogs Maxi and Milo. He cherished their long peaceful mornings together admiring the beautiful home he always strived for while having his morning coffee.
In addition to his wife, Roni. He is survived by his children; Skyla Cozza, Dustin Conforti, Samantha Novajasky and Stephanie Novajasky; Siblings Gale Marino, Sandi Conforti, and Bruce Conforti; His grandchildren, AJ Cozza, Lucas Mason Meyer, David and Ethan Bachand; along with the rest of the conforti family and many friends.
Bob was truly a strong , selfless and admirable man. He was our rock. Goodbye to you "Ba Ba", "Dad", "Bobby" ,"Pa Pa". We will miss you every day.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington. **A Mass of Christian Burial (100 person capacity) will be celebrated on Monday, August 10, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish) 99 East Main St., Torrington, CT. The Mass will also be live streamed on FaceBook** Burial will be private. Please remember to follow CDC recommendations for COVID prevention -- social distancing and wear protective masks.
