Remington Eugene McCaw

Remington “Remi” Eugene McCaw was born on December 25, 2025, alongside his identical twin brother, Colton McCaw. From the very beginning, Remi’s life was shared in love, connection, and an unbreakable bond with his brother.

Though his time on earth was brief, Remi’s impact was profound. He lived for 11 days and passed away on January 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. In those days, Remi showed extraordinary strength and courage far beyond his size.

Remi is a hero. He became ill before his brother, and through his passing, he continues to help others. Remi’s body will help provide answers to what happened to him and to Colton—answers that may protect his brother and help other families in the future. Even in death, Remi’s life carries purpose, love, and selfless giving.

He will always be remembered for the way he fought, the way he mattered, and the way he changed his family forever. Remi knew only warmth, care, and love, and he will be held forever in the hearts of those who dreamed of watching him grow.

Remington may have lived only a short time, but he leaves behind an enormous legacy.

Remington is survived by his brother Colton; his parents, Rebecca and JR; his grandparents, Pam and Eugene Allen of Barkhamsted, and Brett and Suzi McAllister of Colebrook; Freeman Sr of Smithfield NC; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Remington’s family will be holding a private Graveside service and a Celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
