Pasqualina "Lena" Daddario

Pasqualina "Lena" Daddario, 95, of Torrington, CT, passed away on November 29, 2025, at Litchfield Woods. Lena was born on October 15, 1930, in Limosano, Campobasso, Italy, the daughter of the late Francesco and Clementina (Minicucci) Daddario.

Lena was employed by the Torrington Company in the Needle Division, and later with the Housekeeping Department at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, from where she retired in 1992.

Her Catholic faith was of paramount importance to her life. A devoted communicant of St. Peter Church, Lena was a member of the Children of Mary, the Holy Rosary Society, and the Legion of Mary. She happily spent time crocheting hats and scarves for cancer patients as well as making and donating rosary beads to her church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her actions and nurturing her relationships.

She enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable gardens, often donating extra vegetables to food pantries. She especially loved baking for her family and would spend weeks making delicious holiday cookies to share with friends and family.

Lena's family was her pride and joy. She is survived by her daughters, Dianna Daddario Galitello and Maria Daddario, and her beloved granddaughter, Christa Galitello. She was also cherished by her sister, Marie Campi, and brother-in-law, Edward Campi, several beloved nieces and nephews and her godson, John Marcantonio, Jr.

In addition to her parents, Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Nicola "Nick" Daddario, with whom she shared 42 wonderful years of marriage, and her sister, Rosina Mariglia.

Our family is sincerely grateful to our dear friend and Lena's caregiver Jo-Ann Seddon, and to Jaci Seddon, who was like a granddaughter to Lena. Additionally, heartfelt appreciation goes to the staff at Wintergreen at Litchfield Woods for their compassionate care during her final days.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, with the cortege leaving at 9:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT, to St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish), 99 East Main Street, Torrington, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery, 863 South Main Street, Torrington, CT 06790. Calling hours will be held on December 5, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St, Torrington, CT 06790.
