Michelina F. (Fasciano) Brusasca

Michelina (Fasciano) Brusasca, 103, of Torrington, CT, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Valerie Manor. She was the wife of the late Ettore Brusasca.
Michelina was born January 3, 1913, in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Philip and Maria (Andolena) Fasciano. She was employed by Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Housekeeping for 17 years, until her retirement in 1978. A communicant of St. Peter Church, she was also a member of the St. Francis Cabrini Society.
She is survived by two sons, Philip Brusasca, David Brusasca (Nancy) all of Torrington; three grandchildren, Philip Jr., Joyce Lynn and Tammy, as well as two great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Mark, and her daughter-in-law, Joyce.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016, with the cortege leaving at 10:00 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, to St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
