Mary A. (Fasciano) Harrigan, 89, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2025, at Keystone Senior Living. She was the beloved wife of the late Earle Harrigan.
Mary was born June 26, 1936, in Winsted, CT, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Ippilto) Fasciano. Mary was friendly and outgoing with a cheerful disposition. She worked at Star’s Department Store in Torrington for many years, where she made lifelong friends. She was employed by Price Chopper with the Bakery Department until her retirement. Mary sang for years with the Ladies of Melody, and she enjoyed her visits to the Harwinton Senior Center where she participated in many activities, including puzzles, bowling and bingo.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Langlois and her husband Mark of Danbury, CT, Tracey Eichner and her husband Robert of Harwinton, CT; one brother, Joseph Fasciano of Cromwell, CT; one sister, Josphine Molino of Torrington, CT; three granddaughters, Natalie, Emily, Ally, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Tina Whitman.
The family wants to send a special thank-you to Keystone nurses and aids who took excellent care of Mary.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT. Relatives and friends may call on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, Torrington, CT.
