Mary (Murelli) Dablain

Mary V. (Murelli) Dablain, 87, of Harwinton, CT, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Charles A. Dablain.

Mary was born July 16, 1926, in Torrington, CT, daughter of the late Cesare (Jerry) and Emilia (Mazzochi) Murelli.  A wonderful homemaker, she loved her children, and adored her grandchildren.  She volunteered to teach C.C.D., was a member of the Harwinton Senior Center, she loved to read, and to knit as well as to solve crossword puzzles and assemble jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Dablain and his wife Donna (Carlson) and their son Matt Dablain; Keith Dablain and his wife Beth (Simmons) and their children, Cassandra and Bryan Dablain; a daughter-in-law, Pat Dablain; three brothers, Peter Murelli, Albert and his wife Joan (Wolfe), and Raymond Murelli, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Dablain and one daughter, Kathleen Dablain, and her siblings, Clara Shaia King, Joseph Murelli, Rose Waldron, Louis Murelli, John Murelli, and Irma Seitz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 78 Litchfield Road, Harwinton, CT.  Burial will follow in St. Francis New Cemetery.  There are no calling hours.  Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at the church.
