Marion A. Marola

Marion Ann (Nadaskay) Marola, 96, of Litchfield, CT,  passed away on January 22, 2026, at Hartford Hospital, with her family by her side. Born on July 12, 1929, in Torrington, Connecticut, Marion was the daughter of the late Anthony and Emelia (Thierry) Nadaskay.

Together with her husband, the late Ernest F. Marola, she co-owned and operated Marola Motor Sales, a business that not only provided for her family but also served the community for many years. 

She is survived by her son Martin Marola and daughter-in-law Jolanta (Kucharski) Marola of Goshen, CT, and her daughter Claudia Rousseau and son-in-law Mark of Florida. Marion was immensely proud of her family, which includes six cherished grandchildren: Julie and Brendan Shank, Christine Rousseau and John Dunnigan, Maureen and Dan Indoe, Marty Marola, Nicholas Marola, and Arthur and Karolina Kucharski, as well as nine delightful great-grandchildren who brought immeasurable joy to her life.

In addition to her husband and her parents, Marion was preceded in death by her son, the late Ernest "Ricky" Erico Marola.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home.
