Margaret C. Bielik

Margaret C. Bielik, 96, of Torrington, CT, passed away on February 8, 2026, at Haven Care at Valerie Manor. Born on August 27, 1929, in Dudley, Massachusetts, Margaret was the daughter of the late Andrew and Sophie (Katrenak) Brody and the wife of the late Stanley Bielik.

Margaret dedicated her career to serving others as a Manager at Putnam Cards and Gift Shop in Torrington, where she became known for her exceptional customer service and her ability to make everyone feel welcome.

She is survived by her two sons, Lawrence Bielik and his wife Cynthia of Torrington, CT, and Gary Bielik and his wife Gail of Lyndonville, VT: two grandchildren, Jonathan and Brooke Bielik, Kristen and Kyle Danis, as well as three great grandchildren, Cole, Cameron and Madison. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home.
