Louise F. Hough, 91, of Torrington, CT, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Born on April 5, 1934, in Torrington, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Lucy (Battistoni) Finotti.
Louise worked as a secretary at the Torrington Company where she met her husband Gary Hough. She then devoted herself to her marriage and their 5 daughters in South Carolina. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Her wittiness and sense of humor often lead to lively conversations and laughter. Her home was always filled with cats and dogs that were an extension of her family. Louise also looked forward to gatherings with her family and friends. She was known by her loved ones and friends as Weezie, Weezie Girl, Momma Lou, Lou, G-Ma, Auntie Lou.
She is survived by her loving daughters: Lynne Hough (Tracy Weese) of Archer, FL, Christine Lee Hough (Eric Bruckner) of Torrington, CT, Carol Ann Barnett (Craig Ross) of Blythewood, SC, Patti Hough Rogers, son in law David Rogers of Litchfield, CT, and Rebecca Louise Hough of Litchfield, CT who was her loving caretaker. Louise also leaves behind her sisters, Theresa Richards of Goshen, CT, and Domenica Frances Daley of Torrington, CT, along with cherished grandchildren Michael Barnett, Kiersten Barnett, and David Barnett. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
