Linda Temkin

Linda Temkin of Burlington, Connecticut died on September 29, 2023 after a two year struggle with cancer. She was sixty years old.

Linda spent much of her life in the New Milford/Winsted/Torrington, Connecticut area before settling in Burlington thirty-five years ago. She was the owner and operator of Les Beaux Vous Salon and Day Spa, a fixture in Torrington, for thirty years. Not only was Linda a licensed hair stylist, aesthetician, and massage therapist, she took care of all financial and day-to-day operations for the business. She was a mentor to many young stylists and aspiring entrepreneurs through the years.

Linda sold Les Beaux Vous in 2017 to pursue her passion for making people beautiful inside and out as the owner of the Lulu Face Company, an online cosmetics and skin care company. Lulu was headquartered in a beautiful boutique in Litchfield. The Company had a huge following both online and in Connecticut.

To her clients and her friends, Linda was a true inspiration with a caring spirit and unmatched strength, grace, and generosity. She was always warm and welcoming and had a great sense of humor. She had a tremendous joy for life and unrivaled creativity. Linda left her mark on so many people. As one person put it, “I truly lived for my indulgences and time with Linda”. Another called Linda “the most amazing woman and friend I’ve ever known.”

Linda is survived by her son Clark and her husband Bruce as well as her sister Tammy.
