Linda Stoppani

Linda Marie Stoppani, 70, of Torrington, CT, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014, at Torrington Health and Rehabilitation.
Linda was born January 15, 1944, in Torrington, CT, daughter of the late Otto and Mary Jean (Sorrentino) Stoppani. She was employed by Big Y Supermarket in Torrington until her retirement. She is survived by one son, Aaron Stoppani of Avon, CT; one daughter, Lisa Tedesco of Middlebury, CT; two grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by one sister, Juliann Stoppani.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, with the cortege leaving at 11:00 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, to St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis New Cemetery.
