Lester Clayton Pease

Lester Clayton Pease, 67, of Torrington, CT passed away peacefully at his home on July 7, 2025, after a courageous battle with Stage 4 COPD. Born on November 25, 1957, in Winsted, Connecticut, Lester dedicated his life to his family, friends, and career.

Known for his skills as a printer and builder, Lester was employed by Executive Greetings, Inc. 

Lester’s spirit extended beyond his professional life, as he was a passionate volunteer within his community. He served as the Assistant Ski Patrol Director at Ski Sundown and dedicated time to the New Hartford Ambulance, embodying a sense of duty and compassion that was admired by many.

In his personal life, Lester cherished various interests, particularly sailing with his longtime friend Ellis, which brought him much joy and adventure. His love for the outdoors and willingness to help those around him reflected a life well-lived.

He is survived by his devoted partner of 26 years, Cheryl Davis; his son Kevin Pease of Torrington; his daughter Jessica Pease of Pennsylvania; and his beloved grandchildren, Kaydan, Sarah, and Ayla. Lester also leaves behind his brothers Ronald Pease and his wife Linda of Alabama, Art Pease and his wife Susan of Torrington, and John Pease; along with his sister Sheila Tartaglia of Torrington, CT and several nieces and nephews.

Lester now joins his father, Wellington Pease; his mother, Pauline Arnold Pease; his brother, Frank Pease; his grandson, Logan Pease; his nephew, Christopher Pease; and his loyal canine companion Tazzie in eternal rest.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home.
