Joyce M. Baronowski

Joyce M. Baronowski, 83, of Somers, Connecticut, passed away at her home on November 24, 2023.

Joyce was born April 5, 1940, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Mitchell and Mary (Tromba) Baronowski.  She was employed by Time Out as an Auditor until her retirement.

A very spiritual woman, she loved watching movies, reading, her dog Sassy, and loved every moment she spent with her family, who she loved to entertain by telling stories.

She is survived by three children, Christopher Torizzo of Broadbrook, CT, Silvio Torizzo of Torrington, CT, Susan Bishins and her husband Mike of Torrington, CT; her surrogate son, Larry Flannery; five grandchildren, Jessica Vitale, Sarah Storrs, Joshua Torizzo, Alex Murphy, Dominic Torizzo; five great grandchildren, and one special niece, Michele Nalette.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Baronowski as well as two sisters, Judith Nalette and Janice Toloski.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home.
