Josephine M. Molino

Josephine M. (Fasciano) Molino, 103, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away at her residence at Keystone Place at Newbury Brook on Sunday, September 20, 2026. She was the wife of the late Nicholas Molino.

Josephine was born January 1, 1923, in Sicily, Italy, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Ippolito) Fasciano. She was employed as a clerk at Caldor’s department store for many years. A lifelong communicant of St. Peter Church, she was a member of the St. Peter Holy Rosary Society, the Sullivan Senior Center and the Harwinton Senior Center. Among the hobbies she enjoyed were traveling, line dancing and playing bingo.

She is survived by three children, Nicholas Molino (Lorraine) of Harwinton, CT, Ellen Pecorelli of Harwinton, CT, Joanne Yorkavich (Edward) of Torrington; one brother Joseph Fasciano (Annmarie) of Cromwell, CT; grandchildren, Matthew Yorkavich (Diana), Jared Yorkavich (Maria), Colleen Franklin (Larry), Erik Pecorelli (Shannon), Michael Molino, Nicholas Molino (Melissa); nine great grandchildren, Garrett, Tessa, Siena, McKenna, Brandon, Benjamin, Asher, Harlow and Hayes as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Mark Pecorelli, and two sisters, Tina Whitman and Mary Harrigan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish), 99 East Main St., Torrington, CT. Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at St. Peter Church. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT 06790.
