Born in Italy, he immigrated to the U.S. in 1954, with his father and his sister Mary, chasing the American dream. Not only did he catch it, but he built an extraordinary legacy. John's vibrant life, radiant soul and caring personality touched everyone who knew him. The Basket Barn of Torrington was John and Eleanor’s labor of love for 30 years. They retired happily to The Villages, Florida. John especially loved playing bocce, golf and dancing with Eleanor under the stars.
A celebration of life services will be held at St. Peter Cemetery, East Pearl Rd, Torrington, CT on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Donations can be made in John’s name to Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care, 601 Mariposa Way, The Villages, FL 32162.
