John A. Battistoni

John A. Battistoni, 82, of Litchfield, CT, peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at his home. He was the beloved husband of Donna (Cappellina) Battistoni for 64 years.

John was born June 5, 1944, in Torrington, CT, the son of the late Vincent and Della (Tripaldi) Battistoni. He owned and operated Torrington Concrete Forming, Inc. until his retirement. John loved the sport of horse racing and traveling to many tracks throughout the years to watch the races.

In addition to his wife Donna, he is survived by one son, John A. Battistoni, Jr., of Torrington, CT; a brother Vincent Battistoni and his wife Barbara of Litchfield, CT, as well as four nieces, Wendy Sousa, Tina Perrone, Laura Seeley and Lisa Cushman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Cara Battistoni, his sister Joan Uricchio, and sister-in-law Alberta Perrone.
