Joan Talbot

Joan (Cantadore) Talbot, 89, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024. She was the wife of the late Edward G. Talbot, Jr.

Joan was born October 7, 1934, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia (Cavallo) Cantadore. She was employed by the Torrington School System for 31 years with their Hot Lunch Program. After her retirement, she became a reading tutor at Torringford School. She volunteered her time as a lector at St. Francis Church for many years and was a member of A.A.R.P.

 She is survived by her son, Terence Talbot and his wife Lois of East Hartford, CT; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

 Private funeral arrangements were entrusted to Cook Funeral Home.
