Jean M. Colleoni

Jean M. Colleoni, born on February 19, 1948, in Torrington, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, at Hartford Hospital. She was the beloved daughter of the late Luke and Mary (Colangelo) Colleoni.

Jean was generous, loving and found joy in spending time with her family and her cats. She loved the UConn Husky Girls, shopping, traveling and experiencing new adventures, especially being at the beach. She was an enthusiastic volunteer at The Warner Theatre and made it apriority to support local cat shelters.

In addition to her passions, Jean was a cherished family member. She is survived by her brother, William Colleoni and his wife Jeanne of Harwinton, CT; her sisters, Marguerite Spiegelhalter of Guilford CT and her husband Everette (deceased), Diana DeRose and her husband William of Harwinton, CT; Jean also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, as well as several great nieces and great nephews including a special great niece, Ava DeRose, whom Jean lovingly cared for since her birth and shared a special saying with “love you to the moon and back”. She will be deeply missed by all!

Jean dedicated her professional life to serving as an Administrative Assistant in Consumer Protection with the State of Connecticut until her retirement. Her work was marked by a commitment to ensuring the welfare of others, a reflection of her caring spirit and strong work ethic.

The Divine Liturgy of Resurrection will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at St. Maron's Church, 613 Main St., Torrington, CT at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at St. Maron's Church followed by a celebration lunch. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private.
