George K. Wilker, 83, of Litchfield, CT, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Joan (Counter) Wilker.
George was born March 20, 1936, in Ayer, Massachusetts, son of the late George and Violet (Bennett) Wilker. He served his country with the U.S. Army Corps, Military Police, and was honorably discharged during March of 1959. He was employed by Suburban Propane with the sales department until his retirement.
In addition to his wife Joan, he is survived by four daughters, Carla Brodeur of Belchertown, MA, Dorothy Krueger of Apopka FL, Karleen Cordeau of Goshen, CT, Kimberly Grustas of New Hartford, CT; one sister, Pauline Baker of Massachusetts; seven grandchildren, Ashley Brodeur, Jonathan Brodeur, Timothy Brodeur, Kayleigh Grustas, Miranda Grustas, Pierce Cordeau, Preston Cordeau and one great grandson, Landen Brodeur.
