Evelyn (Wright) Haberern, 87, of Torrington, CT, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Edward Haberern.
Evelyn was born April 21, 1927, in Torrington, CT, daughter of the late James and Sarah (Bell) Wright. She was employed by the Torrington Company in the Needle Shop Division, and later with Howards Shoe Store.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Gary Haberern of New Hartford and Richard Haberern of Canton; one brother, James Wright of New Hartford, as well as five grandchildren and one nephew.
