Donato Giambersio, a cherished member of his community, passed away on January 31, 2026, at St. Mary's Hospital - VITAS Hospice Care. Born on January 29, 1945, he was the son of the late Luigi and Maddalana (Gentile) Giambersio,
Donato enjoyed a long and fulfilling career employed by Stone Container, and later as a Store Clerk at Price Chopper until his retirement.
He is survived by his beloved family, including his two nephews, Anthony Maula and Luigi Maula, along with his niece, Federica Maula, as well as several cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held on February 5, 2026, at Cook Funeral Home in Torrington, Connecticut, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at St. Francis New Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a remarkable man.
