David R. Kratzer

David R. Kratzer, 63, of Torrington, CT, passed away suddenly on October 30, 2022.  He was the beloved husband of Ann (Canales) Kratzer.

David was born January 4, 1959, in New Brunswick, NJ, the son of Larry D. Kratzer of Pittsburgh, PA, and of the late Delores (Krieg) Kratzer.  David was employed by Wittmann Battenfield, Inc. as a machinist.

In addition to his wife Ann, and father Larry, he is survived by a son, Coe Gavette; daughters, Briana Kratzer of Vernon, CT, Emily Kratzer and Sophia Kratzer both of Torrington, CT, Katie Fitzgerald; a sister Penny Fischetti (Michael) of Pittsburgh, PA; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  Committal services will be private.
