Caroline (Fink) D'Angelo

October 1, 1926 — March 22, 2014

You have never lost your mother
Though you`ve said your last goodbye,
Though there`s heartbreak in the parting,
No one`s mother really dies.
If you love to hear the old songs for memories they bring,
It`s because you had a mother who taught your heart to sing.
If you paint that perfect picture
It`s from memories she made
If you stop to help a neighbor
Search your heart and you will find,
It`s because you had a mother who`s taught you to be kind.
No, you`ve never lost your mother
Though you`ve said your last goodbyes
Through your thoughts and deeds she`s living
No one`s mother really dies.

On Saturday, March 22, 2014, our mom, Caroline D`Angelo went to be with her husband, Dominic.  Our parents had 65 wonderful years together on this earth and now will spend eternity together in heaven.

In their early years they enjoyed entertaining and dances at the Elk`s.  They loved to travel and vacation with family.  Our fondest memories are vacations spent in Rhode Island which has given us all the love for the ocean.  Family time was very important to both of them.  Weekends were time to be with Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.  We are all very close today because of those bonds set when we were children.  Every time we get together today we talk about the weekends spend at the `farm` and the great times we had.  Our parents taught us to love and most important to laugh.  Our mother had a wonderful sense of humor and could always make you smile.  She had a great sense of style and always looked beautiful.

She will be truly missed by her daughters, Sharon Poley and Jane Turbacuski, her son, Gary D`Angelo, and their spouses, Barry, Noel and Colleen.  She was so proud to see her grandsons, Christopher Turbacuski, Corey Poley, Anthony, Justin and Kevin D`Angelo all grow into handsome young men.  Aiden Poley, Khloe Turbacuski, Grayson D`Angelo were her precious little great-grandbabies.

Her sister, Helen Chaberek of Albany, NY and her two nieces Carol Broderick and Barbara Miller stayed very close over the years and will miss her very much.  Mom looked forward to our lunches, reminiscing about all the family get togethers we enjoyed and catching up on all the family news.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home, Torrington.

For the people who cared so much for her, we will have a celebration of life on Sunday, March, 29th in Lee, Massachusetts.
