Barbara A. Higgins

Barbara A. Higgins, 78, of Torrington, Connecticut, peacefully passed away at her residence on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.

Barbara was born October 15, 1942, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Francis and Julia (Zwick) Higgins. She was happiest when spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Mazzaferro and Catherine Mazzaferro of Torrington; two sisters, Kathryn Higgins of Harwinton and Geraldine Higgins of Florida; one brother, Randall Higgins of Alexandria, Virginia; two grandchildren, Ian Zavatkay and Logan Montefeltri; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother Francis “Coke” Higgins.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home.
