Arthur B. Stentiford, Jr.

Arthur B. Stentiford, Jr., 88, of Torrington, CT, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020, at Litchfield Woods.  He was the beloved husband of Florence (Pulica) Stentiford.

Art was born May 12, 1931, in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Marie (Benson) and Arthur B. Stentiford, Sr.  He was employed by Seth Thomas Clock Shop in Thomaston until it closed, and later he was employed by Winchester Industrial Products in their Quality Control Department until his retirement.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Stephen Loyot of Torrington, Arthur Stentiford of Maine; two daughters, Sandra Dunn and Brenda Morris, both of Torrington, CT; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Stentiford.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  Burial will be private.  There are no calling hours.
