Ann Kratzer

Ann C. Kratzer, 66, of Torrington, CT, passed away Friday, October 23, 2026, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of the late David R. Kratzer.

Ann was born July 26, 1960, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Philip and Maureen (Martin) Canales, Sr. She was employed by T.J. Maxx as a stock associate. She was actively involved in many different clubs with her three daughters, including the local 4-H Club, showing at various fairs, Girl Scouts, teaching Sunday school, VFW auxiliary and the ELKS Lodge. She had much compassion for children and animals.

She is survived by three daughters, Briana Kratzer, Peach Kratzer, Sophia Kratzer, all of Torrington and a brother, Philip Canales, Jr. of Florida. and Niece Katie Fitzgerald of Torrington .
