Angelo Silano

Angelo Silano, 82, of Torrington, CT, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022.  He was the beloved husband of Mireille (Noujaim) Silano.

Angelo was born July 11, 1939, in Villa Nova, Di Batista, Italy, the son of the late Giovanni and Rosina (Iorizzo) Silano.  He owned and operated the Swiss Laboratory until his retirement.

In addition to his wife Mireille, he is survived by two sons, Christopher Silano and his wife Patricia of Torrington, CT, Mark Silano and his wife Jessica of Andover, CT; one brother, Carmen Silano of Torrington, CT; one sister, Maria Paganini of Torrington, CT; grandsons Christopher, Andrew, Maximus and Julian; a great grandson, Ethan; step grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Roland, Jacob, Ann and Emily, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The Divine Liturgy of Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Maron’s Church, 613 Main St., Torrington, CT.  Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.  There are no calling hours.  Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at St. Maron’s Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Maron’s Church, 613 Main St., Torrington, CT.
