Angeline Mary (Marchi) Lovetere, 97, of Winsted, CT, peacefully passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Valerie Manor. She was the wife of the late Salvo J. Lovetere.

Born July 26, 1927, in Winsted, CT, she was the daughter of the late John and Lena (Calabrese) Marchi. She was employed by the A&P supermarket as a bookkeeper, a member of the Italian American Women’s Club and was a lifelong communicant of St. Joseph Church. Angie treasured her Sunday spaghetti dinners with her children and grandchildren.

Angie is survived by two sons, Salvo J. Lovetere, Jr. (Jen) of Winsted, CT, Wayne Lovetere of Winsted, CT; three daughters, Deborah Hague of Winsted, CT, Sally Lovetere of Winsted, CT, LeeAnn Hansen (Bob) of Trinity, FL; a daughter-in-law, Anna Lovetere; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Lovetere, one son-in-law Patrick Hague, one great grandson, Patrick Marshall: three brothers, Frank, John and Peter Marchi and two sisters, Marion Raydenbow and Ester Chirico.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 31 Oak St., Winsted, CT. Burial will follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery. There are no calling hours. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church.
