Albert J. Cordani, 78, of Torrington, CT,  passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital. He was born on July 15, 1947, in Torrington, Connecticut, to the late Patrick Cordani, Sr., and Josephine (Scarfo) Cordani.

Albert was a man of many talents and interests. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as part of the Green Beret - Special Forces, demonstrating his commitment to service and his country. Following his military career, he pursued his passion for building and craftsmanship as a mason with Cordani Brothers and Ace Masonry, where his skills left a lasting impact on the community.

In addition to his masonry work, Albert also served as a custodian at Ocean State Job Lots, always bringing his cheerful demeanor and dedication to all he did. His entrepreneurial spirit flourished when he formerly owned and operated a Martial Arts Store, where he shared his passion for martial arts with others.

An avid bowler, Albert could often be found at Sky Top Lanes, enjoying the camaraderie and competition that the sport offered. His love for sports extended to playing softball and baseball, where he established lasting friendships through teamwork and shared experiences. Albert was also a valued member of the Sullivan Senior Center, where he engaged with fellow members and contributed to a vibrant community atmosphere.

Albert is survived by his son, Brandon Cordani, and his wife, Stephanie, of Torrington, CT; his daughter, Christine Cordani, also of Torrington, CT; his brother, Joseph Cordani and his wife Barbara, and sisters, Rachel Cordani, and Gloria Madeux and her husband Buddy, all of Torrington, CT. He will be deeply missed by his grandson, Travis Cordani, along with several nieces and nephews, and his two beloved dogs, Noel and Peanut.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish), 99 East Main St.,  Torrington, at 11:00 AM.  There are no calling hours.  Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, Torrington.
